Mike Conlin is the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of WaveLynx Technologies.
A passion for delivering value to customers through product innovation and quality.
Mike is a hardware engineer who has led the development of several generations of world class electronic access control product for companies such as HID and XceedID. Previous to WaveLynx Mike was a co-founder of XceedID, which came after a six-year Engineering tenure at HID Corp. XceedID was a highly successful access control credential and reader company acquired by Ingersoll Rand (now known as Allegion) in 2008. Mike holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University in New York and a Master of Science in Electronics and Computer Controlled Systems from Wayne State University. Now, a serial entrepreneur, Mike will lead WaveLynx to market leadership by managing the development of highly innovative hardware products for access control.
Hugo Wendling is the co-founder and President of WaveLynx Technologies.
Hugo has a passion for highly secure, interoperable access solutions that enable his customer’s business strategies.
Hugo is a firmware, DSP and cryptographic engineer with extensive radio frequency telecommunication and cryptography experience. Hugo has vast experience in the Security Industry, as a firmware architect, developing unique, proprietary solutions for over 12 years at HID Corp. He was a co-founder of XceedID Corporation, a highly successful access control credential and reader company which was acquired by Ingersoll Rand (now known as Allegion) in 2010. Hugo’s experience designing firmware radios, cryptographic algorithms, and security management systems, provides the basis for his passion.
He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg in France and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, specializing in Digital Signal Processing and Security. Now a serial entrepreneur, Hugo strives to enable the security industry to work harmoniously to develop highly secure, but compatible and interoperable solutions.
Laurie Aaron is the Executive Vice President of WaveLynx Technologies.
All of Laurie’s customers become her customers for life.
Laurie is responsible for relationship management of customers and partners alike and for supporting our strategic vision. Laurie has been passionately involved in the security industry for more than 20 years holding executive positions in several innovative companies, many of which have paved the way for new concepts such as PIAM (Physical Identity & Access Management) and PSIM (Physical Security Information Management. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She served two terms on the Board of Directors at Security Industry Association (SIA) and three terms as Chairman of the Board at the Open Security Exchange. With a unique perspective on technology and security, Laurie is most excited about blazing the trail towards interoperability, and the adoption of Bluetooth credentials for physical security.
Michael Malone is an owner/partner at WaveLynx Technologies and is responsible for firmware design.

Mike has over 25 years of experience in firmware and embedded systems development. His in-depth expertise and experience in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is applied to physical access control solutions at WaveLynx. Specifically, Mike delivers expertise in secure card applications using various cryptography techniques and technologies, including the FIPS-201 government personal identity and verification (PIV) cards. During the decades spanning his career, he has been a key designer and developer of a substantial number of successfully released products in such industries including medical devices, telecommunications, and semiconductors. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science Option (B.S., EE/CS) from the University of Colorado. He is a 4-year veteran of the United States Navy.
Mike currently participates on the SIA OSDP Committee, driving standards in order to execute valuable new functionality in the access control industry. Mike’s continual drive for excellence in design, execution, and delivery has propelled WaveLynx Technologies to a position of market leadership.
Daniel Field is an Owner/Partner at Waveynx Technologies and is responsible for Hardware Design and Operations.

Dan is an RF Engineer with expertise in antenna design and is responsible for WaveLynx hardware implementation. Dan began his career in the US Army Special Forces where he practiced and perfected resourceful, innovative problem-solving skills. He brings these talents and qualities to the WaveLynx business, providing unprecedented operational excellence. He has a Masters in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Electromagnetics from the University of Colorado. Dan brings a level of discipline, dedication, and leadership to the team that ensures WaveLynx Technologies’ manufacturing operation is always in lock step with market demands.
Taylor Schmidt is responsible for all software and BLE applications at WaveLynx Technologies.

Taylor’s expertise is centered around Bluetooth® Low Energy design and development as it relates to both software and firmware applications. Adept to the unique challenges encountered in the mobile credential space, Taylor has been integral in enabling industry leaders to break into this emerging technology with the development of custom Android and iOS applications. Taylor has lead the WaveLynx “mobile first” strategy from its inception and has ensured our products have remained on the cutting edge of what is possible in physical access.
Holding a B.S. in Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines with a background in professional bike racing, Taylor brings the same highly competitive and disciplined mindset to the WaveLynx engineering team. Taylor understands the challenges, needs, and preferences of the millennial workforce and has the technical knowledge, capability and desire to deliver unprecedented value to WaveLynx customers.
